Registering for an event is how you join in — it creates your participant record so your completions start counting toward that event. Here's how it works, start to finish.
What "registering" means
When you register, Twenty Peaks creates your standing in that event. From that moment on, qualifying activities are matched against the event and counted toward your result. Before you're registered, nothing counts — so registering is always the first step.
Step by step
- Open Featured Events and choose the event you want to join.
- Press Join now! and follow the prompts.
- Accept the terms.
- If the event is paid, you're taken to checkout to complete payment — enter a coupon code there if you have one.
- You receive a confirmation email.
- Open Sync activity and connect a data source, so your activities flow in and start counting.
Free vs. paid events
Not every event costs money. If an event has pricing plans, you complete an order first and then you're registered. If it has no pricing plans, you can register directly — there's nothing to pay. See Pricing plans & what's included.
Unregistering
Changed your mind? You can remove your registration for an event, which takes away your participant record. Note that removing a registration is separate from a payment refund — see Cancellation & refunds.
