Help CenterGetting Started › The 20-Peaks Challenge

The 20-Peaks Challenge is Twenty Peaks' best-known event: a season-long challenge where you pick mountain passes from the ones available in your event and complete them before the season ends.

What it is

Choose your routes from the official passes in your event and ride them outdoors over the course of the season. You can tackle them in any order and at your own pace — the goal is to complete them all before the event's end date.

What "finishing" means

Complete enough routes and you become a Finisher. In the flagship event the target is typically 20 completions, though the exact number can vary by event. Once you reach the target, your event is marked complete.

The effort

A full event usually adds up to a few hundred kilometres of climbing and somewhere around 15,000 m of total ascent. Numbers vary between events, but expect a real, season-long effort rather than a single big day.
