Everything you run on Twenty Peaks hangs off two things: a Community and the events inside it. This guide walks through creating your Community and adding an event to it.
Create your Community
Start from Explore and use the community-create wizard. You'll give your Community a name, a description and a country. The Community is the space that will hold all of your events and routes — you only need to create it once.
Add an event
Once your Community exists, add an event to it. Today you can create a Meetup yourself — a social gathering that isn't scored or ranked. Press Create meetup and choose your Community, then give it a name, a description, its start and end time, and the routes it uses.
Other kinds of event — anything scored, ranked or paid for — can't be created from that button. If you want to run one, get in touch with the Twenty Peaks team and we'll set it up with you.
Routes
You can pick routes that already exist on the platform, or add a new one if the route you need isn't there yet. See Add routes (GPX).
